My daughter plays high school and travel softball and between pitching and 3rd base we felt some type of protection was necessary due to the short distance to the batter and the speed the ball could come back especially after a local player was injured while pitching. She tried a couple other masks but they were either uncomfortable or blocked visibility especially for fielding ground balls. This mask is very comfortable and does not block her view at all. It also feels more durable than many of the other masks. The only reason it did not get 5 stars is due to the cheap visor and the way it attaches. I would definitely recommend this product to any player or anyone who has a child playing competitive softball.

Whether you are playing the infield or outfield, this is a MUST HAVE. You can attack that ground ball, line drive or pop fly without worrying about getting hit in the face. If you play ball you NEED this.

I bought this for my daughter after she had lost her old face mask, this is the third brand she has tried and she was ecstatic at the quality over the others.

Great mask. My teen daughter uses this for high school fastpitch softball and tournaments. She only uses this on the mound because like everyone else, I am a concerned father who doesn't want her to get hurt. Other masks that she has worn, she complains about the bulkiness and the inability to see. Not this one. The only problem she has is that the chin cup does not stay connected to the mask as well as she would like it to, but when I contacted RipIt on the matter, they sent another one right away. This mask is THE BEST ONE that I have found, and I would recommend this product to anyone in a similar situation.

This was a gift for my daughter. She had another type of mask, but was always getting too hot while playing. She said this one was more comfortable, very easy to see, and didn't make her too hot during the game.

This is a good mask but the chin cup is only held on by velcro. It falls off
and we have almost lost it a couple of times. This is a real pain. They need
to find a better way to affix it to the mask.

Purchased for 14 year old daughter who needed adult size for comfortable fit with long thick hair in pony tail. Wears pitching And playing 3rd base. Ccomfortable fit with great visibility. Offers protection for those occassional hard line drives.
