Louisville Slugger MLB Prime Jeter Black Ash Wood Baseball Bat

Amish Craftsmanship
Cut to be harder, the techniques of Amish craftsmanship, square billets and hand sawing, are combined with advanced vacuum drying chambers to form the foundation for the hardest bat you can swing.

360 Degree Compression
Our exclusive machine compression process is far more consistent, guaranteeing 360 degrees of hardness and no soft spots. The new compression process makes a harder, more durable bat and makes bone rubbing a thing of the past.

Advanced Finish System
MLB Prime bats include a new, innovative finishing system. The filler fills all grains and cavities for a harder feel and appearance. Then the three layers of topcoat seal the bat and give it the hardest finish of any wood bat on the market. MLB Prime bats are 9H rated - the highest rating available on the 21-level universal hardness scale.

GREAT BAT. NOT A WOOD BAT FOR STARTERS, IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO USE ONE OR TREAT IT AS AN ALUMINUM BAT IT WILL BREAK IN NO TIME. IVE USED THIS BAT FOR 4 MONTHS AND ITS STILL GOING STRONG. 2 GAMES A WEEK WITH ABOUT 4 AB'S A GAME. GET THIS BAT IF YOU ARE AN ADVANCED HITTER.

Turning players into legends since 1884. Before Little League. Before the World Series. Even before the rule that says three strikes mean you're out, Louisville Slugger was already perfecting the bats that would write the history of the game. Over the past 125 years, no other brand has logged more wins, captured more titles and set more records than the legendary bats of Louisville Slugger.
