Rawlings 243 Big Stick Pro Maple Ace Wood Baseball Bat

The Rawlings Maple Ace Wood Baseball Bat is made with the same high-grade wood used by the pros. These bats combine Adirondack balanced timber with the player-preferred natural unfinished look. Pro Ink Dot Tested for straight grains.

Rawlings Maple Ace
Maple Ace utilizes the same high-grade maple as the pros and combines Adirondack® balanced timber with the player-preferred natural unfinished look.

Pro Ink Dot Test
The ink dot is placed on the bat taper to measure the slope of grain. The lower the degree of slope will result in higher performance and durability of the bat.

Rawlings Big Stick
Barrel size generates power. With a larger hitting surface and increased sweetspot, Rawlings’ Big Sticks were created for athletes who can swing with a heavier barrel resulting in maximum power at the plate.

Comments about Rawlings 243 Big Stick Maple Wood Baseball Bat:

Best when facing off speed pitchers with weaker fast balls. Can sit back and crush. Very durable wood. Lots of head to drive deep flys. Not yet able to get the same bat speed I have with the 271 maple Velo. Perfect power hitters bat. Get some muscle first then swinging top heavy bats isn't an issue. If you get jammed a lot then this isn't your bat. Very thin handle that feels awesome. Racking up doubles, ball jumps off. Bottom line, I can swing this bat since I'm 6' 230 lbs. I'd still use a Velo if a pitcher is throwing high 80's. WORD

Comments about Rawlings 243 Big Stick Maple Wood Baseball Bat:

guys, this bat is a little small, but when you think about it playing in a wood bat tourney you are going to want to get around on the bal fast. this bat is well balanced and has a good sweet spot. a tape job or some pine tar and this bat is on its way! also it has a good knob for grip which i think is important.
